Who runs VaultSquirrel

VaultSquirrel is a hobby collectibles portfolio tracker for personal use. It is operated by an individual in the United States under the name VaultSquirrel. There is no company.

Questions about these terms: support@vaultsquirrel.com.

Estimates are not advice or appraisals

Values in VaultSquirrel are estimates. A number, a range, or a High, Medium, or Low confidence label is not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or a professional appraisal. VaultSquirrel does not tell you to buy, sell, hold, or insure anything.

Marketplace prices move. A comp can be the wrong item, the wrong grade, or out of date. Comparisons with the S&P 500, gold, Bitcoin, and inflation are charts of public index data over the time you have held a piece. They are not a quote, a forecast, or a promise of return. The S&P line is a price index. You are responsible for your own decisions.

Your account

You create an account with an email address and a password. Creating an account means you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You need to be able to read email at that address, because password reset links are sent there.

You are responsible for activity under your login. Do not share your password. VaultSquirrel will never ask for a wallet seed phrase or a private key. Do not enter one.

What you upload

You keep ownership of the text, notes, and photos you add. You give VaultSquirrel permission to store them, show them back to you, and use the item details to look up an estimate. Photos you upload should be ones you have the right to use.

If you turn on a public showcase link, anyone with that link can see the parts of your collection you chose to publish. Values and what you paid stay hidden unless you opt in. You can turn the link off or replace it from Settings.

Public wallet addresses

A wallet address you add is public blockchain data. VaultSquirrel reads NFT holdings for that address from third-party services. Adding an address does not let VaultSquirrel move, sell, or sign anything. You can remove the wallet from your account.

Third-party data and AI estimates

Estimates may come from marketplace listings, PriceCharting, public web pages, and an AI model that suggests what an item is or a value range. Those sources can be wrong. VaultSquirrel shows a source and a confidence label when it has them so you can judge the estimate yourself. Third parties have their own terms.

Deleting your account

Settings has a “Delete my account” action. You confirm by typing DELETE. That deletes your holdings, photos and stored image files, valuations, costs, sales, watchlist, price alerts, notifications, push subscriptions, wallets and NFT holdings saved in VaultSquirrel, comp notes, and your showcase, then deletes the login. Download a spreadsheet from Holdings first if you want a copy. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone from the app.

Acceptable use

Do not use VaultSquirrel to break the law, to try to access someone else’s account, or to upload material you do not have the right to store. The operator may suspend an account that abuses the service. The service is a personal project and can change or stop.

Disclaimers

VaultSquirrel is provided as-is and as available. The operator does not promise that estimates, imports, benchmarks, or the site will be complete, current, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by United States law, the operator is not liable for lost value, bad estimates, or lost data. Some states do not allow certain limits. In those states the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

Changes

The operator may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. If you keep using VaultSquirrel after an update, you are agreeing to the new terms. If you do not agree, delete your account.
